The Model M641 is a programmable RTD simulator with a range from 10 Ω to 300 kΩ. Its basic accuracy is 0.02 %. The best resolution at the lowest range is 100 µΩ. The decade contains stable high-load resistors with a low temperature coefficient, switched by low thermal voltage relays. Built-in software includes a function for simulating RTD temperature sensors with parameters according to IEC (DIN) or US standards, and temperature settings in Celsius or Fahrenheit. The instrument can be controlled via RS232, USB, LAN, or GPIB interfaces.
The M641 is a sophisticated instrument featuring its own recalibration procedure. This procedure allows for correcting any deviation in resistance without the need for mechanical adjustment.
This decade box is designed for checking the parameters of resistance meters, regulators, and process meters that use external resistance sensors for measuring non-electrical quantities.
