The Time Electronics 1065 is a high-power resistance decade box designed to meet the standards required for both industrial use and technical education. Resistance is selected by dialing the required value using the 6 large rotary switches. This enables precise setting with a clear, unambiguous indication. Switch contact resistance has been kept to a minimum through the use of multi-wafer switches, each with four parallel, silver-plated, self-cleaning contacts.
The 1065 features safety terminals that are compatible with 4 mm shrouded plugs, standard plugs, bare wires, and spade terminals. These terminals are specifically designed with safety features including a limited opening distance and a raised flange around the metal connection surface. This ensures that the clearances are sufficient to make the exposed metal parts touch-proof.
