Product description

The DS Instruments SG12000L is a compact microwave signal generator delivering high signal purity and precise calibrated output across the entire 25 MHz – 12 GHz range.

The latest Rev 18 hardware (Q4 2025) introduces lower phase noise, improved sweep performance, and Ethernet as a standard interface.

Calibrated output power is adjustable from –25 to +13 dBm in 0.5 dB steps across the full frequency range.

Using fractional-N synthesis, the generator provides stable, accurate signal generation and can operate from either its internal 10 MHz TCXO reference or an external 10 MHz input.

The bright OLED display and front-panel buttons allow local control, while USB-C and Ethernet interfaces enable remote operation via standard SCPI commands.

The SG12000L features a rugged aluminum enclosure with reinforced SMA ports and is ideal for RF laboratories, production testing, and EMC applications where portability and accuracy are essential.
