Product description

The DS Instruments SG6000PRO is the premium member of the SG6000 series, designed for demanding RF applications requiring high signal purity, low distortion, and ultra-low phase noise.

It covers 20 MHz to 7.1 GHz and delivers calibrated output from –40 to +16 dBm, adjustable in 0.25 dB steps or continuously via the internal attenuator.

The new Rev 11 hardware (Q2 2024) introduces 1° phase control, improved output attenuator accuracy, 2 Hz minimum frequency step size, and standard Ethernet interface.

With phase noise of –98 dBc @ 10 kHz offset (6 GHz) and active harmonic filtering, the SG6000PRO ensures extremely clean signal generation.

It supports control via front panel, USB Type-C, or Ethernet (DHCP/static IP), using industry-standard SCPI commands for automation.

The SG6000PRO is ideal for RF testing, EMC evaluation, antenna and filter design, and R&D in communications, radar, and defense.
