Product description

The DS Instruments SW1204 is a compact and reliable solid-state microwave switch designed for fast, accurate RF signal routing in automated test environments and research applications.
It features four SMA ports (SP4T configuration) and operates across 10 MHz–12 GHz, using a bi-directional non-reflective topology that maintains 50-ohm impedance matching on all inactive ports.

The switch handles up to +33 dBm (2 W) through-path power and +27 dBm terminated power, with a typical 2.5 dB insertion loss and 40 dB isolation at 6 GHz.
It is powered and controlled via USB Type-C, supporting standard SCPI commands through a virtual COM interface.
An optional Ethernet port allows remote control over DHCP or static IP connections.

With fast solid-state switching, low harmonic distortion, and long-term reliability, the SW1204 is ideal for antenna and satellite testing, RF automation, telecommunications, radar, and defense R&D.
