The Rigol RSA6000 Series is developed for spectrum analysis, combining Real-Time Spectrum Analysis (RTSA) with Swept Spectrum Analysis (GPSA). The series is built upon a common architecture focusing on high performance and versatility. The models are primarily differentiated by their maximum frequency range and standard bandwidth: RSA6085 covers frequencies up to 8.5 GHz, RSA6140 reaches up to 14 GHz, while RSA6265 offers the widest coverage up to 26.5 GHz. All models offer the same advanced analysis bandwidth and features, ensuring consistent performance regardless of the selected frequency limit.
The RSA6000 Series is engineered for measurement applications that demand high resolution and the ability to capture transient events.
- Real-Time Analysis (RTSA)
- Up to 200 MHz Analysis Bandwidth (Option): Enables complete signal capture across a wide bandwidth for in-depth analysis of complex and broadband signals. This feature is critical for detecting and characterizing signals that are short-lived or frequency-hopping.
- Vector Signal Analysis (VSA): Supports complete analysis and performance evaluation of modern signal formats.
- Measurement Accuracy
- Phase Noise at 1 GHz: With a typical phase noise of -108 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz and a 10 kHz offset, a clean local oscillator is ensured, which is fundamental for accurate measurements of adjacent signals.
- Displayed Average Noise Level (DANL): Provides a low noise floor for the detection of weak signals. Measurement values are normalized from 1 GHz to 1 Hz and show -143 dBm (typ.) with the PA off, and down to -163 dBm (typ.) with the PA switched on.
- Integration and Versatility
- 5-in-1 Integrated Functionality: The instrument integrates five core functions: GPSA, RTSA, VSA, ADM (Analog Demodulation), and EMI Pre-test. This minimizes the need for separate test tools.
- EMI Pre-test Application: Built-in software for preparation before EMI measurements (conducted and radiated) in accordance with standards such as CISPR, through the use of specified filters.
- Design and User Experience
- Compact Form Factor: A portable design allows for flexible use in various laboratory and field environments.
- Interface: Supports standardized SCPI commands for integration into automated test systems (via USB, LAN, HDMI). The interface is optimized for touch operations for intuitive handling.
The RSA6000 Series delivers the performance and versatility required for modern RF analysis, whether you are working with wireless communication, radar, or general troubleshooting.
