Energy logger PEL 115 has enclosure class IP 67 and can be used in outdoor temperatures down to – 20 ºC. It provides a fully waterproof design for outdoor applications in all weathers. Also together with plugged-in voltage cables with screw connection and MiniFlex MA194 or MA196 and AmpFlex A196 rogowski coils. The drive voltage is built-in and is taken directly from the voltage inputs up to 1000 V. Measurements are made with up to 5 voltages and 4 currents.
The PEL 115 is a complete instrument for energy analysis and energy optimization where waterproof and dustproof measuring equipment is desirable. The PEL 115 is easy to use and portable with the flexible current clamps, which is practical for making pre- and post-measurements. Measures current, voltage, energy and all effects on 1- or 3-phase installations, both on AC and DC installations.
Perfect for a longer measurement on a plant to see the total energy consumption or the energy produced from a solar cell installation.
Communication
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, USB and memory card. With the PEL115 connected to Wi-Fi, via network or directly to a PC, both alarms and automatic reports can be created and sent as e-mails. WiFi can either be connected to a network via a server, or directly to a PC or a smartphone. With IRD DataView Synch you are connected to a secure server so that all measurement values are available wherever you are.
Measurement
Stores min, max and average of every second with a sampling rate of 128 measurements per period (20ms) of power and energy consumption in all four quadrants. PEL 115 shows progress down to 200 ms. At the same time, power factor measurement and total and individual harmonic analysis are performed up to the 50th harmonic, all of which are stored in the memory. For the measurement of transients and fast processes below 1 ms, we recommend our Qualistar series.
Memory
With, for example, a 10-minute period selected with a 1s trend over 30 days, 3.2 GB is used. If 1 s trend is deselected then 0.52 GB is used. The included memory card is 8 GB and the PEL 115 handles cards up to 32 GB.
Software
Delivered with Swedish license-free software and Swedish manual. There is also an Android APP for free download, see below.
