The HIOKI PW3365 is a clamp-on power logger that measures voltage and current safely and efficiently without direct contact with live conductors. Its innovative voltage clamp sensors attach easily around insulated wires, enabling completely non-contact voltage measurement. With a voltage range of 90 to 520 V and a current measurement range of 50 mA to 5 kA at 50/60 Hz, the PW3365 minimizes risks such as short circuits and electrical hazards. This makes it ideal for monitoring energy consumption and power demand in systems ranging from single-phase to three-phase four-wire configurations.
Thanks to its compact design, the PW3365 fits easily into confined spaces such as switchboards and connection cabinets. It provides accurate readings and detailed insights to help identify and reduce energy losses. Supplied with an 8 GB SD card, it supports long-term stand-alone data logging, making it well suited for energy audits, load studies, and equipment inspections.
For current measurement, the PW3365 requires AC current sensors with BNC connectors. These are not included and must be ordered separately. By selecting the appropriate sensor, the instrument can be tailored to specific monitoring needs, from low currents to several kiloamperes.
The PW3365 can log both load current and leakage current, providing a comprehensive tool for energy analysis. Load current logging helps assess the consumption of machines, distribution panels, or entire facilities and identify inefficiencies. Leakage current logging identifies unintended leakage caused by insulation defects, wiring faults, or aging equipment. Monitoring leakage current is essential for preventing electrical hazards, reducing fire risks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
The instrument is supplied with the Z1008 AC adapter for mains-powered operation. When an outlet is not available, the optional PW9002 Battery Set can be used; it attaches to the back of the instrument and provides up to three hours of operation. These flexible power options make the PW3365 suitable for both fixed installations and mobile field use.
Designed for energy consultants, facility managers, and service engineers, the PW3365 is a safe, reliable, and user-friendly instrument for energy monitoring. Its compact form makes installation easy even in restricted spaces, while the non-contact voltage sensors simplify setup and eliminate the risk of short circuits. The instrument supports real-time monitoring via LAN and integrates seamlessly with the free HIOKI Gennect One PC software for continuous power management.
The PW3365 provides all essential measurements and enables accurate monitoring of systems from single-phase to three-phase four-wire. Whether for short-term audits or long-term logging, the PW3365 delivers reliable data that support energy savings, efficiency improvements, and enhanced operational reliability.
