The Hioki MR8880 is a rugged, field-oriented memory logger designed for fast and reliable recording of analog and digital signals in industrial and power environments. With four fully isolated CAT III 600 V inputs, the instrument can safely measure everything from low-level sensor signals to three-phase power systems without the need for a separate differential probe. Its high sampling rate of 1 MS/s enables the capture of fast transients, startup events, and fault conditions.
The instrument combines high-speed performance with long-duration logging, allowing users to record waveforms and RMS values in real time to CF or USB media, with the ability to replace storage during ongoing measurement. The PRESETS guide simplifies setup by walking the operator through typical scenarios such as voltage dips, power monitoring, and load analysis.
Built for harsh environments, the MR8880 withstands low temperatures, vibration (JIS D1601), and physical shocks thanks to reinforced side guards. The 5.7" TFT display provides excellent visibility even outdoors. The instrument can be powered via AC adapter, external DC supply, or battery pack for up to approximately four hours of operation.
With support for a wide range of Hioki current clamps, differential probes, and leakage current sensors, the MR8880 is a versatile tool for power distribution diagnostics, industrial maintenance, automotive testing, UPS analysis, and advanced field measurements where reliable data acquisition is essential.
