The TBOH01 5µH LISN is a device required for setting up noise measurements of DC powered devices.
It is designed to be used for EMC pre-testing in the frequency range 150kHz to 110 MHz.
The LISN is inserted into the supply line of the DUT (Device Under Test).
Line noise present at the supply terminals of the DUT can be measured at the BNC connector using a spectrum analyzer or a measurement receiver.
The source (supply) terminal and the DUT terminal are decoupled by a 5µH inductor.
Specifications:
- Frequency range: 100kHz - 110MHz (1GHz, see figure 4 in the manual)
- Nominal operating voltage range: 0 - 60V DC *
- DC resistance: 60 mΩ
- Max current: 10A
- Maximum source voltage: 200V
* The operating voltage range is limited to 60V DC for safety reasons. Even if the component rating of the LISN is ≥ 200V, the positive supply voltage can be mistakenly connected to the negative pole of the LISN and thus to the LISN housing. Under these circumstances, a DC voltage > 60V can cause a fatal electric shock if the housing is touched
