Product description

IEC/EN 61000-4-4, ANSI C62.41 & C.37.90.1
  • 5/50 ns pulse shape
  • 8 kV Burst max. impulse voltage
  • Max. AC voltage:
  • 690 V AC (phase - phase),
  • 400 V AC (phase – neutral)
  • 100 A per phase EUT current
The FP-EFT 100M2 connection/disconnection network is fully compliant with the requirements of IEC/EN 61000-4-4, as well as tests according to ANSI/IEEE C62.41 and C.37.90.1 power lines.

IEC/EN and ANSI standards cover burst testing of single and three phase AC and DC power ports. They include recommendations for the test equipment, test settings, and test procedures. IEC 61000-4-4 Edition 3: 2015 now defines the pulse shape not only at the generator output but also at the CDN output. This version 3 only requires a clean common mode connection. This means that the burst signals are connected simultaneously to all paths at the same time
time. Because of this, no connection path selection is needed during testing. This speeds up the test time.

FP-EFT 100M2 connects the cut to an EUT while
prevents the impulses from contaminating the three-phase power supply. The FP-EFT 100M2 has manual switching path selection to verify the functionality of each path as recommended in IEC 61000-4-4 Edition 3: 2015.

This can also be used to select different connection paths
according to ANSI standards that require a path for road scour testing. Used in conjunction with the AXOS5/AXOS8, the FP-EFT 100M2 can be used to inject EFT/burst impulses onto the three-phase supply.
