The Hioki PQ3100 is a powerful and user-friendly power quality analyzer designed for troubleshooting, commissioning and preventive maintenance in electrical installations. It is engineered to quickly identify outages, voltage dips, transients, harmonics and imbalances, as well as to log long-term trends and events. Thanks to the intuitive QUICK SET wizard, users are guided step by step through connections and settings to ensure correct measurements from the start.
The PQ3100 can capture event waveforms up to 11 seconds in total (1 second before and 10 seconds after the event), making it ideal for analyzing load dropouts, intermittent faults and switching disturbances. Measurement functions include voltage and current variations, harmonics up to the 50th order, flicker, imbalance, inrush current and power parameters. The instrument is compatible with a wide range of Hioki flexible and rigid current sensors, including models for AC/DC measurement and leakage current analysis.
The included PQ ONE software enables advanced analysis, standard compliance checks according to EN50160, TDD calculations (IEEE519), event lists, trend analysis, ITIC curves and automatic report generation. The PQ3100 is suitable for use in industrial plants, commercial facilities, solar power systems, UPS installations and EV charging infrastructure.
