The CA6652 is a test adapter for verifying AC electric vehicle charging stations equipped with Type 2 connectors.
It is used together with an installation tester (e.g. CA6131, CA6133, CA6116N, or CA6117) to ensure correct operation, wiring, and grounding of the charger.
The adapter simulates the vehicle’s charging status by generating and monitoring the CP (Control Pilot) and PP (Proximity Pilot) signals, and allows selection of charging currents from 13 A to 63 A.
An internal safety check ensures that no voltage is present between protective earth and ground before testing.
LED indicators display the status of all three phases (L1, L2, L3).
The CA6652 can also be used with CA922–CA942 oscilloscopes to visualize the CP signal and analyze PWM (pulse-width modulation).
When used with installation testers CA6116N or CA6117, measurement results can be stored and documented via DataView software.
