Product description

The MPCC230 Megger pro circuit checker is a True RMS voltage measurement device with RCD, touch voltage and Loop test.

Volt and socket test

Simple socket check with True-RMS voltage output and warnings showing when you If socket is correctly wired and touch voltage is <50 V. Simple clear error warnings for the following wiring errors:

  • Phase - Neutral Reverse
  • Earth Reverse
  • Open Neutral
  • No Earth
  • Touch Voltage is >50V

RCD Testing

The MPCC230 allows you to perform RCD testing on Type A, AC and F devices with 30 mA test current or conduct an RCD AUTO test x½, x1, x5 at 0° and 180° with single press of a button.

LOOP Testing on TT and TN sytems

Perform Earth Resistance (Ω) and Touch Voltage (V)

  • Measures Impedance Zs (Z L-Pe) (Ω) and IPEFC Prospective Earth Fault Current
  • Test with 15 mA nominal current
  • Advanced low test with 6 mA for when the RCD trip due to the presence of leakage current in the electric system under test.

Harmonics
Perform advance fault finding with the harmonics function with the ability to show the fundamental harmonic, frequency (~50 Hz) and THD% Indicating the total harmonic distortion of the voltage supply.

Inspect up to the 49th harmonic by individually selecting the results on the display and analysing the frequency and percentage (%) compared to Fundamental harmonic.

Memory storage and external reporting
The MPCC230 automatically saves the RCD and LOOP measurement to the internal memory. It is possible to store 64 consecutive measurement results. The results will be organised in chronological order for easy filtering and recalling. Download the results at any time to your mobile device using the free MPCC Link app available on the Apply App store and Google Play store.
