- Resistance Range: 15 Ω – 300 kΩ
- Maximum Load: 3 kW, 250 Vrms
- Temperature Coefficient: < 10 ppm/K
- True Resistance Mode (CR mode), simulated Constant Power (CP) and Constant Current (CC) modes
- RS232 and GPIB interfaces
The M192A is an accurate high-power resistance decade designed for testing power supplies and batteries up to 3000 W and 250 Vrms. As it is a resistance decade rather than an electronic load, its resistance function uses true resistors, which means it can also be used with AC power sources. Refer to the datasheet for typical frequency responses.
Additionally, the M192A version features a built-in test signal meter with which Constant Power (CP) and Constant Current (CC) functions can be simulated. Other advantages of the M192A include its extended range up to 300 kΩ and a continuous resistance range instead of fixed values.
All decade functions can be remotely controlled via RS232 or GPIB interfaces. This allows you to integrate calibration/test steps directly into the production line for all resistance-based sensors, dramatically reducing the time required for final quality tests.
