B&K Precision’s new HPS Series High Power Programmable DC Power Supplies generate 20 kW of clean power in a compact 3U form factor. The series includes two models: the HPS20K800 and the HPS20K1500, which can deliver up to 800 V and 1500 V respectively with 3-phase 208 VAC or 400 VAC input configurations. The intuitive front panel features a 5-inch touchscreen TFT display and offers complete access to all of the HPS features.

 

The HPS Series built-in features satisfy many of today’s demanding high-power applications. The script function, similar to list mode, provides a simple way to output a sequence of user-defined voltage/current steps. Additionally, adjustable voltage/current slew rates allow for precise user control. For higher power applications, the master/slave mode enables safe parallel connection of up to 8 units, increasing the total output power up to 160 kW. The series is equipped with multiple I/O interfaces including RS232, LAN and an analog interface. These power supplies also provide comprehensive built-in protection features to safeguard the power supply as well as the device under test.
